La Sinfonia n. 8 in fa maggiore Op. 93 fu composta da Ludwig van Beethoven nel 1811-12 e, a parte una prima esecuzione tenuta privatamente nel 1813 presso la residenza dell’arciduca Rodolfo, fu eseguita per la prima volta pubblicamente a Vienna il 27 febbraio 1814. Il manoscritto originale si trova presso la Deutsche Staatsbibliothek di Berlino.
